SIXGP
Terms of Service

The deal between you and SixGP.

These terms cover what you can expect from SixGP and what we expect from you when you create an account, register for an event, or use the leaderboard. Plain English, no surprises.

TL;DR

  • ✓ You keep your account secure and give us accurate information.
  • ✓ You own your performance data; you grant us a licence to display it.
  • ✓ Compete fairly - no faked results or tampered scores.
  • ✓ Event payments are handled by Stripe and follow the gym's refund policy.
  • ✓ Physical training carries risk - train within your limits.
  • ✓ You can close your account at any time.

Acceptance

By creating an account, registering for an event, or otherwise using SixGP, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. If you are using SixGP on behalf of a gym or organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that entity to these Terms.

Your account

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Athletes under 18 need a parent or guardian's consent to compete at a partner event.

Accurate information

Provide a real date of birth and sex so your cohort and age band are correct. Your composite score is only meaningful when the inputs are honest.

Security

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

One account per athlete

Each athlete keeps a single account. Duplicate or shared accounts distort leaderboards and cohort norms and may be removed.

Events, registrations, and payments

Registration

Registering for an event reserves your place once payment succeeds. Stripe's webhook is the source of truth for whether your registration is confirmed.

Refunds

Refund and transfer policies are set by the hosting partner gym for each event. Check the event page before you register. SixGP facilitates payment but does not set the gym's policy.

Fees

Prices shown at checkout are inclusive of SixGP's platform fee. We never store your card details - payment is processed entirely by Stripe.

Fair play

Compete honestly

Results are recorded by event judges at partner gyms. Submitting fabricated values, impersonating another athlete, or tampering with the scoring system is prohibited and may result in score invalidation or a permanent ban.

Respect the platform

Do not attempt to scrape, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to SixGP or its APIs, and do not use the service for anything unlawful.

Your content and data

You retain ownership of the performance data you contribute. By competing, you grant SixGP a non-exclusive licence to store, process, and - where you have opted in - publicly display your handle, age band, sex, composite score, and six-axis radar profile on the leaderboard and your athlete profile. You can make your profile private at any time from your account settings; see the Privacy Policy for exactly what is public versus private.

Assumption of risk

The six stations involve strenuous physical activity. You participate at your own risk and should ensure you are medically fit to compete. SixGP is a software platform - it does not supervise events, provide medical advice, or guarantee the safety of any venue. Always follow the instructions of on-site judges and staff and stop if you feel unwell.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Scores, percentiles, and estimates are computed from a frozen scoring config and are provided for informational and competitive purposes; we do not guarantee they are error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SixGP is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or participation in any event.

Termination

You may close your account at any time from your dashboard. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, abuse the platform, or compromise the integrity of the leaderboard. On termination, anonymised, cohort-aggregated performance data may be retained for the integrity of historical leaderboards and norms, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes we will email account holders and update the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use SixGP after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.
